There is a safespot behind a bush in between two trees on the south side of the area. Spiritual mages (Zamorak) are ghostly followers of Zamorak which are only found in Zamoraks Fortress across. a guide I'm reading says Zamorak, past the bridge and by the boss door. 83 Slayer is required to kill Spiritual mages.
